Tri Time Trial and Triathlon Frame Geometry

Calfee is a leader in establishing ideal frame geometry for Triathletes. in 1994, we pioneered the longer top tube/shorter stem combination on steeper seat tube angle frames that are now commonly found on most Tri bikes. Calfee's experience in making stable, comfortable frames continues with the trend towards 700c wheels on larger frames. We have found that the shorter chainstays of the 650 wheel design improve stability by helping to keep weight off the front wheel, especially on smaller sizes. 1" steerer forks keep the ride very comfortable for hours in the aero bars.
