Calfee Design warrants to the original registered owner that its products are free of manufacturer's defects for a period of 25 years for the Tetra and Dragonfly and 10 years for the Luna and Bamboo from the original date of purchase. If Calfee Design determines a product defective, Calfee Design will, at its sole option, either repair or replace the product free of charge. All build-up/break-down labor and shipping costs will be the sole responsibility of the owner. In order to obtain service under the Calfee Design limited product warranty, the product must be returned to an Authorized Calfee Design Dealer along with the original bill of sale. All frames must be completely disassembled before being returned to Calfee Design. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, defects or failures resulting from abuse, neglect, accidents, improper maintenance, or unauthorized modification.

Under no circumstances shall Calfee Design be liable for any damages or injuries incurred by the use of its product.This includes, but is not limited to: lost profits, lost savings, and incidental or consequential damages or injuries arising from the use of, or inability to use this product. The limited warranty set forth in this agreement may not be extended or modified by any Calfee Design Dealer, Agent or Employee. Calfee Design does not assume any liability or make any warranty except as stated in this limited warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights depending on your state. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, or the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the limitations and exclusions set forth in this warranty may not apply to you.

As a service, Calfee Design will exchange to the original registered owner of an irreparably damaged Calfee Design product not covered by the preceding warranty at a substantial cost reduction. Calfee Design will exchange the returned damaged product for a new one of the same size and the same or comparable model. Please contact your Calfee Design Dealer for current details regarding replacement terms. This offer applies only to the original registered Calfee Design owner and expires five (5) years after the original date of product purchase.

Calfee Design has recently seen more frames being passed to new owners for a second life. While we are thrilled that this is mainly a result of people buying their second Calfee frame, we re still very committed to rider satisfaction and product quality of the original frame. Therefore, in order to ensure new Calfee owners enjoy our products as much as the original owners, the Second Life Warranty Transfer Policy allows us to provide this satisfaction by fully inspecting all "second life" frames for structural integrity. By doing so, we are able to transfer the Calfee Design warranty to the new owner providing both increased purchase satisfaction and peace of mind.

When you have found a buyer for your original frame, or if you have already bought a used Calfee frame, complete and sign the Warranty Transfer form. Carefullly pack and send dissassembled frameset (frame and fork) along with completed WarrantyTransfer form to Calfee Design. We will perform an inspection of the frame only, specifically looking for any structural damage which could compromise ride quality or rider safety. We will perform any repairs which are covered under warranty at no additional charge and notify you of any non-warranty structural repairs which will be repaired at owner's expense.

Additional Terms and Conditions: Owner is responsible for any damage incurred in shipping to Calfee Design, shipping expenses to and from Calfee Design as well as warranty transfer fee of $250. Calfee ships all frames FedEx Ground, unless otherwise agreed. We accept, inspect and transfer warranty for Calfee frames only, no forks. By sending frame to Calfee Design, frame owner is automatically responsible for any additional costs to repair non-warranty structural damage. Calfee Design will not release frames that are considered structurally compromised. Calfee will not release frames that are reported to have been stolen. Warranty term is based on original owner's purchase date of bicycle as recorded on retail receipt proof of purchase or Calfee Design's records of the original frame sale to the bicycle shop if the retail receipt cannot be supplied.
